classification
There are two kinds of paper-making raw materials: plant fiber and non plant fiber (inorganic fiber, chemical fiber and metal fiber).
In the world, the main raw material for papermaking is plant fiber, and the coniferous or broad-leaved wood used in some economically developed countries accounts for more than 95% of the total consumption.
Botany
There are many kinds of plant fiber materials used in China, which can be divided into six categories
1, Conifer wood, such as larch, Pinus koraiensis, Pinus massoniana, Pinus yunnanensis, Pinus sylvestris, etc;
2, Broad leaved wood, such as poplar, birch, eucalyptus, etc;
3, Grass plants: such as reed, bamboo, awn stalk, wheat straw, rice straw, Gracilaria, sorghum stalk, bagasse, etc;
4, Phloem fibers, such as flax, jute, kenaf, sandalwood bark, mulberry bark, cotton stalk bark, etc;
5, Kinds of wool fibers, such as cotton, cotton linter, cotton rags;
6, According to the custom of our country, waste paper fibers are classified as first-class waste paper (unprinted white paper edge and broken paper picked from factories or relevant units), second-class waste paper (printed waste books and newspapers), third-class waste paper (all waste paper, old cardboard and broken cartons except the above two).
Papermaking sludge
Nowadays, the sludge produced by industrial production is no longer industrial waste, but a good raw material for papermaking.
In the past, the sludge produced in the process of papermaking has been treated as industrial waste, which not only increases the cost, but also pollutes the environment. After years of repeated experiments, these sludge finally has a place to use.
These sludge has become a new raw material for the manufacture of paperboard. After testing, the effect is very good. Not only the paper quality is improved, but also the production cost is reduced and the environmental pollution is reduced.
Banana
The banana planting area in Jinghong City of Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture is more than 100000 mu, and more than 1 million tons of banana stalks are discarded every year. A large number of banana stalks are discarded in the field, seriously polluting the environment. An agricultural company in Xishuangbanna invested 3 million yuan to set up a pilot plant for comprehensive utilization of banana stalks in the local area. It successfully made fiberboard from banana stalks, fruit stalks and leaves by means of no cooking, no need to install boilers and using caustic soda additives. Since its trial production in June 2010, the company has produced 1200 tons of banana stalk and fruit stalk waste, 21 tons of pulp board and 40 tons of pulp, achieving the goal of cost reduction, low energy and low consumption. The production line can produce 50 tons of pulp per day, 89600 tons of banana fiber pulp board per year, with an annual output value of 340 million yuan. According to the local environmental protection department's test, all the emission indexes have reached the national first-class emission standard. This technology is the first in banana stalk papermaking in China.
